Run The Rock Dallas Marathon

The primary beneficiary for the Dallas marathon is the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. TSRHC treats Texas children with orthopedic conditions such as scoliosis, hand disorders, hip disorders, clubfoot and limb length differences as well as certain related neurological disorders and learning disorders, such as dyslexia, at no charge to patient families. Events like this marathon help children continue to get better and being a part of that makes crossing the finish line something to remember.

Jarden Westchester Triathlon

Westchester Triathlon organizers have teamed up with one the most popular triathlons in the world, Escape from Alcatraz, one of the only Olympic Tris to be broadcast on network television. Top amateur triathletes must qualify for Alcatraz by competing in one of 7 qualifier races around the country, and Westchester Tri represents the Eastern Region qualifying race.

September 26 & 27: Junior Team A Step Ahead and Team A Step Ahead will be competing in relay and individual events at the Jarden Westchester Triathlon at Rye Beach, New York. The junior and adult team will be racing in honor of Guy Bayer, a patient of A Step Ahead who was a strong supporter of the Team A Step Ahead program who recently passed away.
